The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

This audiobook is written by F Scott Fitzgerald and this short story was first published in a magazine in 1922. The story was about a married couple who were expecting a baby, and their child was born in a hospital.

Though no one expected Mr and Mrs Button’s child to be born an old man.

Obernewtyn

This is the first story in The Obernewtyn Chronicles that Isobelle Carmody wrote and I read the book form of this story twice.

Though it was the first time I listened to the audiobook of this story, and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the audiobook.

Particularly when Elspeth Gordie had to use one of the powers, she possessed to mind talk with someone who also had this ability too. She could also speak to animals as well using this power like Saruman the cat.

As he tells her that she has been chosen to do a specific task.

Though she doesn’t know much yet about what she has to do. Elspeth Gordie is also the sort of person who gets herself in situations whether she likes it or not.

Writers on Writing

This is an audiobook that was written and narrated by Margaret Atwood who has been a writer for a long time. She had also made a decision to start her writing journey when it wasn’t common for women to publish their stories or poems. So, this audiobook of hers starts off being a memoir of her career as a writer.
